I'm back

* If you read this blog and get mad or upset, that's not my problem. The truth has always hurt some systems more than others and this blog post is meant to let readers know how so many of us Black people around the world feel. If you're a troll and want to post negative comments, don't waste your time, because I won't waste my time responding to your ignorance, hate or racism*

It's been about two months since I last posted on this blog.  Since my last post I've returned to the States and my laptop has crashed.  That reasoning for this blog is unrelated to what this post is about., but I thought I'd share why I haven't been posting on my blog.

Since my last post there has been  more unarmed Black men and women murdered by the police and my spirit is sad. I don't want to be a part of this world right now. I try not to listen to and/or watch the news but sometimes I catch a glimpse or snippet of what's going on in this world. When I hear and see how my people are treated in this world on the news it makes me more sad and more angry than I already am.

This blog post isn't going to be long, it's a letter to my people.

Dear Beautiful Black People in the world,

We have suffered over 400 years at the hands of the white male establishment worldwide. I believe there is a war on my people. There has always have been a war on Black people. Many of our ancestors were forced here to the United States. Our ancestors were forced to build this nation yet we are treated as hostile, lazy second class citizens. We're criminalized, sexualized, brutalized and marginalized. Without our ancestors, the world would not/could not exist as it does today.

It's been tough for me but I can't imagine what our ancestors had to go through and deal with at the hands of these evil oppressors all over the world.

We have been forced to believe in the lies of a religion that depicts a while male as our savior, I've never been able to worship that picture of the white Jesus I grew up with. I always wondered how a white Jesus could and would want to save my soul when those who look like him hate those who look like me. It never made sense to me.

We have been carted to man made deserts so we don't offend the evil establishment with our skin color and hair. We have been made to feel like we don't matter in this world. Our history has been erased and rewritten to make us seem like we were shiftless and lazy and have contributed NOTHING to this world. Our homes, our schools, and our business establishments have been burned down or looted by the evil oppressors if they were more successful than their own.

There are thousands of so called police officers sworn to protect and serve the public who have, over numerous decades, killed, raped, pillaged, maimed and destroyed our families, homes, villages, cities and towns and stolen our land..

I'm tired. I'm tired of being nervous every time I get behind the wheel of my car or inside the car of any other person of color.. I'm tired of every time I say something about this to someone who is white or Mexican or Jewish they discount and ignore what I"m saying. They make sure to tell me the plight of their people who, honestly look like the oppressors I face every day. They can't compare their suffering to anything our people have had to endure. It's not the same and it's not happening to them right now.

I'm tired of rehearing my Granddad tell me how his boss at Sysco Frozen Foods told him how good of a worker he was, but he couldn't pay him what he paid the white fellas cause he was colored.

I'm tired of being afraid for myself and people who look like me. I'm tired of being angry.Angry at an establishment that's well over 400 years old that oppresses others through 'laws' and ignore the bad behavior of the oppressors.  I don't know what to do or where to turn to feel safe in a place that hates me and people who look like me.

Systemic racism is an Institutional racism (also known as systemic racism) that's a form of racism that is embedded as normal practice within society or an organisation. It can lead to such issues as discrimination in criminal justice, employment, housing, health care, political power and education, among other issues.systematic racism (Wikipedia).

We need change and we need it now. The only way to effectively generate change in this world is to hit the white establishments where it hurts in their pockets. Economically speaking, not buying products from this establishment speaks louder than any looting ever will. When you tear up someone's business don't forget they have to have insurance. And that insurance replaces what was burned down, looted or stolen. That type of behavior is not effective in making a change.

Not shopping at the white establishments in droves will make huge statement and (I believe) generate changes in the evil and unfair laws made to keep up at the bottom and oppressed.

From this point on I won't shop at any white owned establishments unless I have to. I have to have gas and food, so I'll spend as little as I can in that department, but I REFUSE to buy anything else at any department store, boutique, online store, mom and pop store that isn't black owned.

The only way we  will be heard and treated fairly in this world is if we cripple this economy. Stop buying all the brand name clothes and shoes. Stop fueling the system that is keeping us oppressed. I promise you, after a few months we will be heard and this nation (nay, the world) will have no choice but to stop the systematic racism they so proudly support.

We have power people. Let's show them how powerful we can be. I'll post some links at the end of this blog to let readers know I'm not just talking to talk. I'm talking because we NEED to have a strategy if we plan to survive this very active and public attack on Black people by the white establishment.

We need to unite and stand together to make a difference. Every little effort can make a difference but we all need to do our part. We might have to live without buying the latest shoes and clothes, but that's a small price to pay for what will surely result in us finally being free in this country.  Positive change is worth the sacrifice.

We have been brainwashed and lied to, cheated on, our family members killed, our culture and talents stolen, our very existence threatened,  yet the society looks forward to and accepts  our monies, our culture, our words, our styles while telling us (through their words, laws and actions), we aren't worth anything. They tell us we don't matter and never did matter. They don't deserve us. AND WE LET THEM!!!!

If you're reading this blog I hope you do your part in showing America and the world how important and vital we are. It's not a joke, it's survival.

Our dollars make a HUGE impact on this nation and in this world. Let's face it, if we don't spend, this nation won't survive: This nation need to see how powerful our dollars are. That's the only way this will change for us.
