Bucky the Basketball???

 

This is Bucky. He's a beaver and lives in the backyard of my parent's home. He was seen one Monday afternoon when the family was outside cleaning out the storage house in the backyard. 

He's HUGE!!! 

My Mom said she was looking out the kitchen window one day and saw Bucky in the backyard. 

She said she kept seeing him in the backyard but he wasn't moving. This went on for about two days. I think she became concerned for Bucky. 

She wasn't going to go outside to see if he was alive or not but kept on looking at him and wondering why it wasn't moving. 

When my 20 year old nephew came to visit my Mom, she told him about the none moving Bucky. She pointed him out to my nephew through the kitchen window. 

My brave nephew told her he would see what was going on with Bucky. He bravely walked out the house into the backyard. Bucky didn't move. The closer he got, the more nervous my Mom got. Of course she didn't want Bucky to bite or scratch my nephew and she knew that could easily happen if he got to close to this wild animal. 

My nephew walked straight up to Bucky. Bucky STILL didn't move an inch!! 

I'm sure my Mom's heart was beating fast as Nephew touched Bucky with his shoe. 

She saw Nephew laughing hard!!! She watched in horror as he picked up Bucky and threw him to another spot in the yard!!!

Bucky, it turns out, was a basketball!!!
